Harbor Escape

My family and I stayed with Big Blue Rentals in South Haven, MI in May 2025 and really enjoyed out time. Big Blue rentals really roll out the welcome mat with souveniers and coupons for local shops. Access to a private pool for the community was a big win with the kids and your are litterally 5 mins from everything, Shops, Lake Michigan and even a Meijer for all your greocery needs while you stay. We will be keeping Big Blue Rentals in mind the next time we book a vacation.

Harbor Escape was amazing! Not only is the location perfect but the owners added every small touch into the house to make your stay that much better. My kids (17, 15, 12, 7) loved the video game table, and so did my husband!! It was great to see the siblings have fun together, trying to beat each other's scores! The cabinets have everything you need to make your vacation fun and relaxing, from baby/toddler must haves to popcorn poppers and blenders! The house is decorated beautifully and shows the thought and care of the owners. It was very clean and very well taken care of. You felt at home immediately after walking in the door. The house is very close to the beach and the downtown area. I loved that we were close enough to go home and shower and rest before heading back to the main area for dinner or shopping. The garage has all of your must needed items for the beach, if you forget anything, which helps ease your mind when vacationing with littles of any age. The indoor pool is a quick walk down the road and was a perfect way to start and end our days! Having an indoor pool was such a bonus choosing a rental location, especially for non beach weather days! Our trip was in late winter/early Spring. A nice get away before the busy beach season. Still PLENTY to do without the full beach experience. Restaurants were not busy and the beaches are beautiful no mater the season! We can't wait to visit again in the summer time! Pros- Great location Clean Plenty of room for the family Kitchen fully stocked (cooking utensils, kitchenware, small appliances like popcorn machine, etc) Garage fully stocked with essential beach needs (wagon, chairs, umbrella) Baby/toddler items (pack n play) Arcade style game table Washer/dryer in the house Indoor pool What to bring- Towels for pool use (none are available at the pool) Laundry cleaning supplies (the house DID supply this but I do a lot of laundry on trips so I like to have our own)

We had a great weekend stay at Harbor Escape. What a lovely, comfortable and well thought through home. The details were impeccable from the fully stocked kitchen to gaming table that brought back so many memories. The indoor heated pool is walking distance which was welcomed on a cooler spring day. Phoenix Street is approximately a mile away which offers an array of shopping, restaurants and local attractions. If you are thinking about booking Harbor Escape, you should! I can confidently say that you won’t be disappointed.

What a gorgeous property. All the amenities you could want at a rental. A welcome gift basket, area maps, and suggestions on where to visit and eat (which were all great). A sit down arcade in the living room!! A great spot to relax, and plenty of room for the whole family or many guests. Very close to downtown. We will be going back to stay there again for sure!!

My wife and I expectations were exceeded by leaps and bounds! I was completely blown away with the thought put into the accommodations for the guests who stayed at this address AND in this area. The house was clean & cozy with entertainment for all ages. They even had utensils specifically for children!... Sippy cups and all! This place had all that you could think of from paper plates to air fryers, blenders and juicers!!! Although it was cold and snowy, we had such a fabulous time that my wife says we must come back during the summer. There is a heated pool and pool area for winter swimming, a short distance from a beautiful Lake Michigan beach front, a short drive for good eating, and much more to enjoy for a 2-day or 2 week getaway! We will certainly be back summer 2025 to stay at 734 in Harbor Escape staycation, vacation, or whatever you call it resorts.
